Mental health is a lifelong journey. We cannot downplay its significance as it affects everyone. We can’t control the life events, but we can make good choices to make the journey a wonderful one. It may feel tiring, it may feel hard to manage and the things may get messed up, but to enjoy the ride we have to put a big smile on our face, and we have to think about the positive possibilities that lie ahead. Be the driving force yourself to make your journey thrilled.
When we go forward, there may come moments of despair which we haven’t seen coming even when our eyes are wide open, but that’s okay. It’s okay to have bad days in our lives, and it’s even more okay to share it with someone when things get too much. It may really help you to care for yourself, to have a coffee and move forward. Don’t feel like you have to put on a brave face all the times when you’re low, reach out, talk to people, and seek support. This is the new normal.
This journey is of everyone’s. In our journey we cross paths with different people passing through different stages of their lives. We never know what someone else is going through. Be empathetic and kind to everyone, and be that safe space for your close ones.We are all vulnerable to changes. Create safe spaces around us for the needy, and for those whose wounds are not visible.
